Out of Network Provider

Anais Torres is an out-of-network provider, meaning that she does not participate with any insurance panel and is self-pay. As an out-of-network provider, Anais is able to provide the highest quality of care.

When accepting insurance, a provider is also accepting many rules and regulations set on them. Insurance companies tend to take over treatment in a variety of ways including:

  • Diagnoses permitted as well as enforcing that a diagnosis is provided although at times, there may not be one.

  • Dictating length of treatment/number of sessions.

  • Delineating forms of therapy/treatment used.
